Had a decent stay at Lam Kinh! The location in district 5 is super convenient for street food. My room had a nice bathtub, but the air conditioning could use an upgrade. A solid choice.

Great location in the heart of the local Chinese district!
I had a frustrating experience at Lam Kinh Hotel during my 4-night stay in a Standard King Room. The bed lamps were so dim that reading was practically impossible. On the second day of my stay, I was informed that there would be no room service for the rest of my time there due to staff shortages. Additionally, the only elevator broke down on my last day, forcing me to lug my bags down five flights of stairs, and the WiFi was unavailable for several hours, which really disrupted my plans.

6/10
The room was wicked spacious and bright, with a nice bathtub too. Super convenient to have street food vendors nearby waking up early. Though that shower thing? Kinda sketchy without a proper handle. A bit noisy in the hallways at night. Pro tip, watch out for the card payment markup when checking out, total bummer.

this hotel was like a bad joke. the bed lamps were so dim, they’d barely light a candle. on top of that, i expected some complimentary gesture for enduring the elevator fiasco, but i guess that’s asking too much? almost thought i’d give a better review but just couldn’t.

I loved that my room was large and filled with natural light The bathroom was a highlight with both a bath tub and a spacious shower area. The front desk was available 24/7, and the door staff were helpful with my luggage!

The location is excellent, right in the heart of District 5, surrounded by local markets and street food vendors that open as early as 5 AM. The room was spacious, with a nice bathtub and a working air conditioning system.
